Foundation Wedges
V-shaped metal wedges are used to secure Duragilt Foundation with grooved top bars to provide the strongest frame-foundation combination available. Install one metal wedge in bottom bar and one metal wedge in opposite side of frame in the top bar. These small wedges tighten the foundation top and bottom, slightly tensioning it to keep it straight and firm. Wedges are not a necessity when using Duragilt but they can lengthen frame-foundation usefulness and prevent sagging or throwing during extracting.
