FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Home made bee food: 8 pounds of granulated sugar 2 quarts water brought to a soft boil mix together, Then add a 1/4 TSP of cream of tarter, at room temperature. This keeps the mixture from fermenting We feed our packages this recipe until June 1. Our established colonies we feed until the dandelion is in full bloom near the area the bees are.
